Workshop School Visits

Spending time and sharing books with my readers has been the highlight of my career. I feel that every minute of effort I put into my work is worthwhile when children are part of the audience. Pat Pollock Rhoads is my main illustrator. We both indubitably rejoice in the simply pleasure that reading to children brings.









When visiting schools, we attentively listen to their interpretation and reaction to both story and illustrations alike. It gives us great joy to share our work with them and their teachers.




We have topics that appeal to children of different ages. For pre-school age and younger we offer a special workshop for parents and kids to enjoy together.





We also delight in sharing our knowledge about the process of creating books.




As a musician and a music lover Mrs. Retana incorporates, whenever possible, music and hands-on activities that encourage creativity during the workshops.
